What type of electronic boards can Codium design?
Codium designs all types of electronic boards: embedded systems, IoT and connected objects, wireless communication boards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, 4G/LTE), power electronics, industrial boards and system-on-module designs.
Does Codium offer design without production?
No. Codium works exclusively on Study + Production or Production-only models. We do not offer electronic board design without the associated production. This model guarantees consistency between design and manufacturing.
How long does it take to design an electronic board?
Duration depends on project complexity. A simple project (basic IoT board) typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from design to prototype delivery. A complex project (multi-layer industrial board) generally requires 3 to 6 months.
Can you take over and improve an existing electronic board?
Yes. Codium can take over an existing design to improve it, migrate to new components, fix issues or prepare for industrialisation. We require the project source files (schematic, PCB, BOM) to assess feasibility.
